A celebration of butterflies, bamboo and botanicals! Lilly is a beautiful modern chinoiserie art print which was originally hand-painted onto pure silk, inspired by the traditional Chinese painting technique ‘Gongbi’ - a meticulously detailed style which executes the highest level of precision and detail.

I first created Lilly as a bespoke piece for one of my favourite clients back in the day when I was doing custom commissions. This lady had a particular fondness for butterflies, so I created two prints featuring butterflies in her honour, and named them after her two daughters – Mariya and Lilly.

Lilly is set in the traditional, elongated Chinoiserie style proportions for a classic feel. Serene, restful and super feminine, Mariya and Lilly look so beautiful as a pair above bedside cabinets, over a console table or anywhere you’d like to create a feature within your home.

The lighting, alignment and resolution of the original painting has been maintained using a precision scanner. This process creates a perfect reproduction of the original painting, including the soft texture of the woven silk and every fine brush stroke.

Framed prints:

Please note framed prints cannot be shipped outside of Europe.

Framed art is sent via Parcleforce or DPD; please allow 5-7 working days for delivery within the UK, 14 days for delivery to Europe and the Channel Islands.

Shipping on framed prints is free to UK and £35 to Europe and the Channel Islands (Guernsey, Isle of Man, Jersey).

Your order may be subject to customs delays and import fees.

Framed prints are packaged in recyclable cardboard boxes, securley wrapped with recyclable bubble wrap and corner protectors.

Framed prints are returnable within 60 days, you are responsible for the cost of the return and it is recommended that you use a tracked and signed shipping service. Please use all original packaging.
