Metallic paper for artists to create high-end, luxurious paintings and artworks. 

Take your art to the next level with exquisite metal leaf papers. These papers are pure luxury, my art on these has gained far more attention than other works, it’s just the effect of gold! The Midas touch! 

You will receive one of each: 

Gold and silver leaf mottled abstract paper. It's completely smooth, no actual texture. It has a luxurious aged look to it, perfect for creating high end sophisticated artworks.

Metal leaf paper in gold, silver, and champagne. It has subtle markings of leaf squares giving a high-end look to your painting.

Need to know:

Each sheet measures approximately 24 x 36cm (9.4 inches x 14.1 inches).

Can be used with acrylic, acrylic/gouache, emulsion, or oil paint. Not suitable for watercolours or gouache

Your sheets may need degreasing using something like Whitson's Degreaser For Metal Leaf

Apply a few drops of the degreaser to a cloth or tissue and gently wipe the sheet once 

Shipping and Returns:

Shipping: 

  • UK - Free over $250 USD ($7 under $250 USD), delivery in 3-5 business days.
  • USA Standard - Free over $250 USD, estimated delivery in 10-15 business days ($25 under $250 USD). As of 2nd Sept 2025 all US orders include prepaid duties and taxes, so no surprises on arrival.
  • International Standard - Free over $250 USD, estimated delivery in 10-15 business days ($20 under $250 USD). 
  • International express - $54 USD delivered in 3-5 business days. Currently subject to fees on arrival.

International orders may be subject to delays that are beyond our control. If you need your order within a specific timeframe, please choose International Express at checkout.

Returns:

Returns are accepted, buyer is responsible for the return cost and the item must be in perfect condition. Full shipping and returns policy here.

I loved painting on Diane's metallic paper with acrylic gouache. I drew the motif freely with a pencil without any problems, the brushes distributed the paint well, and I shaded it following her good advice. The paper was perfectly protected during transport and saved me a lot of time, as I didn't have to gild a board or canvas, or even varnish the leaf to protect it. I can't wait to age and wear the gold leaf and try another motif! Thanks Diane! Silvina

Painting on the metallic paper is certainly different than silk, but no less fun. This isn't the best photo, but here is my effort at a pair on the silver metallic paper. Don't be afraid to try this beautiful surface or any of Diane's silk paper options. They are all wonderful and so much fun to use. I highly recommend all of the products for artists on Diane's site as I have bought just about everything!
