The Shona art print is very special to me – it’s a section of an antique style chinoiserie mural I painted for my mum, who's name is Shona!

My mum loves anything antique, pretty and floral. Growing up, the house was full of delicate crockery and ornate knick knacks, which undoubtedly fuelled my obsession with chinoiserie!

This design was inspired by the stunning Chinese wallpapers of the 18th Century, and was originally hand-painted in a distressed style to give the feeling of an aged antique wallpaper.
