It's a decorative painting style inspired by Chinese art (pronounced 'shin-wuh-zuh-ree') with dreamy scenes of birds, flowers and trees.

Lesson 3 - Scale up your designs to create bigger art!
You’ll learn how to scale your designs for murals, wallpaper, furniture and larger artworks, even without a projector.
I’ll show you how to plan beautiful compositions that work in real spaces, and how to avoid the common mistakes that make large-scale work feel confusing or overwhelming.
Finally, you’ll create an artistic vision board to plan your dream chinoiserie project, so you leave with the clarity and confidence to put your new skills into practice!

What you'll need
You don’t need anything fancy to get started. This is designed to work with simple, everyday art supplies. We do recommend using Chinese brushes for the best experience.

• A small dab of acrylic paint
• Gouache or watercolour paint
• A pencil
• Regular letter paper
There's no pressure to buy anything new. If you already paint, you’ll almost certainly have everything you need. And if not, you can still follow along with very simple, everyday supplies.
